"Check in good, rooms a little tired and dated but clean. Noisy air conditioning."

Be careful on parking fee. I arrived at 17.30 and paid £20.00 pounds for what i understood to be 24 hours. They then tried to charge £8.00 for period 12.00 - 14.00 next day. Very petty.

"excellent hotel,excellent service - average manager"

overall rating would have been excellent but for - only one mug (big ugly thing) in a double room also a fault with the air conditioning resulting in a very hot nights sleep,although fixed the manager was not very sympathetic

"Excellent value for money"

Exterior does not do this hotel justice. Staff very pleasant. Rooms excellent. No complaints whatsoever with the hotel except for its location in relation to the underground. Having said that if you prefer bus travel then this is easy to access and nearer to the hotel. Would recommend 100%. Thanks for a lovely stay.

"Clean and comfortable but room very tired. Helpful and friendly staff."

Have stayed here on several occasions previously but would consider other options next time. Room in need of refurbishment. Looks like some attempts had been made to modernise e.g. new sink and contemporary door/cupboard handles but broken bath panel, fractured bathroom tiles, badly scratched and dated bedroom furniture. After saying that the room was very clean and the staff very friendly. Not a bad hotel but expected more for four stars.

"All round high quality, especially the service"

It is rare to find such high quality service from every member of staff. The rooms and servicesare excellent too as is the location, especially when there is a cricket match at Lords!

We enjoyed our stay at Danubius - the only slight disadvantage for tourists to London is its relatively remote location from tourist sites

"Charging for wifi!"

Charging for wifi is a no no for me, you don`t make much money from it I bet! And it is one of lifes essentials now when on the road for business! For long term stays a wifi charge is a deal breaker for me..

The tube for St Johns Wood is very near so when you get the right directions then you can come and go from the main centre as much as you like

"Fabulous value for money"

Clean room, very friendly and helpful staff. Good location as even though the tube line (Jubilee) was shut we only had a 10 minute walk to the next station (Baker Street)

"I arrived at 18.15hrs and my room when i entered was not made up properly."

All staff i dealt with could hardly speak english and were difficult to understand and them understand me, room keys were very difficult to use 2 guests were having assistance when i arrived, and when i got into my room the bed had been used and had 2 used towels on it, plus curtains were closed bin in bathroom was un-emptied and no shampoo. Overall a very disappointing experience

"The housekeeper was good inasmuch as the beddings changed daily and room cleaned."

Staff are too businesslike and could be more ostentatious of their hospitality; reception could be warmer both at the lobby and the room. I was unhappy that there was no refrigerator in my room. There were no flowers in many areas of the premises - I saw none in my 4 days stay.

Good value for money in central London - 10 mins from tube - rooms were not too hot and nice and quiet. Nice staff. and good for parking your car.

"Having stayed with you over the past few months, I was MOST disappointed this visit. "

Previously stayed on 3rd and 4th floors. Room 814 was most inferior. Carpet torn, beds small, duvets too small, hairdryer a disaster, no option for pay movies on TV, curtain left hanging off hook - and this room was described as refurbished! My next visit would have to be a vast improvement for my husband and I to continue using the hotel.

"NOT BAD - TOO HOT BUT FOR THE PRICE NO REAL COMPLAINTS"

This hotel is ok if you can get a good deal. It is a little out of the way if you intend visiting central London but not to the extent that it should not be considered. The room temperature could not be controlled because the system only facilitates "warm" in Winter and "cool" in Summer - it was too hot for me. The hotel is a bit dated but for the price I paid (£98.00 +£10.00 for full English breakfast) I am not going to complain. One very good point for those who are driving - the hotel has its own car park and they charge £20.00 for 24 hours.

The only issue was we needed a 3rd bed, we got it but had to make it ourselves. Also, we ordered roon service but got the wrong order, however this was rectified quickly.

was an excellent choice to celebrate valentine`s day, breakfast was delicious, rooms well decorated everything was spot on, however some people might find noise levels going through the single door into the room disturbing. i didn`t... i love it!

"Great customer service is not consistent"

I have stayed at the Danubius for several times now attending 2 courses through the Lazarus Consultancy. Some of the stays have been good, and others less so. The older, non-revamped rooms for which one pays the same fee, are not up to scratch- old bathrooms with material curtains and not enough space in shower. Bin in bathroom - pedal broken. TV on the blink; no bar fridge. Should these diffrences to the new rooms have be shown out at reception, I would not have considered taking the room in spite of being able to use the room early in the morning and not wait until 2pm. Staff are friendly, but do not appear flexible. New rooms much better even if the views are not of Lords.
