Generally quiet although our room overlooked the Service Yard and there was some noise from there overnight. Room 402 door needs adjusting, although it could have just been some very inconsiderate guests overnight on the 26th December!

Clean comfortable and friendly staff

After experiencing some awful hotels via coach tours we were very extremely happy to be staying in a lovely, clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast was delicious.

Only downside was shower curtain. Nobody still uses them because of static.

Great location for the Old Town and Waverly Station. Staff very friendly, lovely buffet breakfast. Our room wasn`t ready at check in time but this was mitigated by a complimentary coffee and, as we had to go out, putting our bags in the room. Would definitely return.

Hotel could do with some updating. Our double room was clean and a good size but not very warm. There was some noise from the railway and the building site next door but the views over Edinburgh more than made up for this. Staff at reception the dining room and bar were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend if only for the full Scottish breakfast each morning.

My main issue with Jurys is the use of a central booking agency which is not meaningfully connected to each hotel. I know that my experience is not unique and that others have experienced the frustration of long unhelpful telephone conversations going nowhere.

On arrival we were few hours early. We were able to store our bags in a secure room until later when we returned back to the hotel. We had option for room with a view of quiet room at the back. The front room was in 1st floor and despite previous reviews found it not to be noisy at all. We had good nights sleep. Room was clean and tidy. Extra pillows and cover were great! Nice to relax at the end of a long day of sight seeing put tv on with free view channels and free wifi to check emails and messages. Great powerful shower and bath filled up quickly! Buffet breakfast in the morning with a good rsnfe of options for a healthy or filling breakfast. Later was able to store our bags again for the day until we were ready to get our train very near to the hotel. Great location. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

but the breakfast staff appeared stressed and not helpful. The breakfast bar was empty both mornings We had long waits for porridge and cooked breakfast. Juice had ran out and smoothies bottles not refilled. However our rooms appeared clean and were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated vacation time of 12pm lunch time

My sister and I stayed at Jury`s Inn Edinburgh. The staff were so helpful, polite & friendly. The hotel was very clean & well presented. The bar and restaurant were very good with a lovely choice of food. I would highly recommend it.

Very good hotel. Goodsized room and very good breakfast close to Waverley Station. Taxis available within a few steps. Ideal for Edinburgh University Graduations.

Hotel very well situated near Waverley Station and Royal Mile. Very clean but getting ready for refurbishment. Breakfast very good.

Room noisybecause it faced the station, hotel needs triple glazing! However, food very good and staff are excellent . Also location is superb, central for everything we needed.

i would highly recommend Jurys Inn Edinburgh. The staff are friendly and very helpful, very focused on their customers having a comfortable experience at the hotel. I can`t fault anything about my stay there. In fact I would say it was excellent.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Jurys Inn,very near Waverly Station and 5 minute walk to Princes Street and The Royal Mile,staff very friendly and efficient,check in was very quick and we were early,but room was ready.Breakfast was great,lots of cereals,fruit,bread and a cooked breakfast,everything replenished very quickly.Room was standard with everything you need.Overall a great stay and no complaints.

i was shocked that there was no scottish draft beer and that meant instead of drinking in the hotel we went elsewhere. i find it hard to believe there was no scottish draft beer in a hotel that is just off the royal mile. is this a policy of the hotel group as they are from england. apart from this it was a very nice stay and i have no other complaints

Fantastic location, just a couple of minutes from the Royal Mile.Excellent view from our room. Very clean. Very quiet. The people at the reception were just marvellous. First class staff!

We found that the mattress and the pillows were very hard did not get a good sleep

A comfortable hotel in a good central location.

The hotel is well placed for access to the historic cente of Edinburgh and the shopping area.It is accessible from the main railway station and car parking is also available at the station. The hotel is comfortable and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

When I originally booked this hotel, a member of staff from Jurys contacted me to say that despite my confirmation with Hotels Direct they did not have a room for me. I got in touch with Hotels Direct and they sorted everything out that day and closer to our stay got back in touch to say they`d confirmed again that we had a room. We were getting a huge bargain through hotels direct (60% off the standard room rate). Staff at Hotels direct could not be more professional, I`m a little dubious about the honesty of Jurys staff although, during our stay they were very pleasant and courteous. The room was clean, well maintained and had an adjoining door to the next room so would suit families travelling together. It was ideally located for the Royal mile and princes street, and was just a short walk from the Castle which was welcomed following the tattoo on the Sat night which finished at quarter to one in the morning.

Nothing you can do about the noise levels, to be expected I suppose in a city centre hotel.

The hotel is in a great location, it`s close to the waverly station,The royal Mile and all the tourist attractions. The staff were excellent and the facilities were very good. I am a blue badge holder and I asked at reception about parking and they let me park at rear of the hotel, but I would check in advance if this is possible

I stayed here overnight with two family members. The sleeping area was very tip top - mattresses were at most average, view from bedroom wasnt too bad, had everything we needed such as fresh towels/duvets and pillows. Bathroom wasnt as clean noticed had hair trimmings on floor tiles so had this cleaned up at 2.30am. Price was fair, lady on reception was at times annoying but overall would i stay here again? Probably if like this time it was the only hotel left with adequate number lf beds.

We would stay there again!
