I found the hotel staff to very helpful, the room was spotless. Hotel was in walking distance of Westminster and Victoria. Pimlico is on the Victoria line making very easy to get around central London. Plenty pubs, restaurants and shops around the hotel also.
Although hotel was good, the room was too small to be classed as suitable for three people. For two nights it was manageable.
Good location, but very basic (no bar, no fridge, iron or hairdryer). Internet good though. Very noisy at night and fire alarm kept going off all night on Wednesday. Staff seemed nice enough.
We were in room 305 and the lift is close to it, the noise from the lift going up and down was awful, it squeaks all the time really hard to sleep in that room, we asked for a taxi but the man on reception didn`t tell us it would be double the price of the black CAB we used the day before for the same journey. And I don`t know why we were put in a family room when we booked a double. Reception could be more pleasant to there customers.
Our only complaint was the noise later at night from other guests and then water pipes and lift noises- so difficult to sleep
We enjoyed our stay at The Hutton`s Hotel. Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Ideal location and close to the Apollo Victoria as well as subway link, restaurants and bars.
It was awful Here is the list of what was wrong with the hotel there was stains on bedding, human faces actually stuck to the toilet brush I found this out due to the ?skid marks? down the toilet from the previous guest. The shower was heavily limescaled, the bedding had fluff and someone`s hair on the bed sheet. I have photographs for this and I`m waiting for my refund!
Just not what we were expecting, clever photography was misleading. Room and shower room very small, cramped and basic. We did not stay.
Hotel was within walking distance from Victoria and Pimlico station. Very quiet surroundings. Bedrooms were clean and perfect for what we needed. We paid to have breakfast, does get very busy, had full English which was tasty and filled us up for the day.
The room and ensuite were very small. Tea and coffee facilities were on the bedside table as there was no space for them in the room. The ensuite was so small that yours knees touched the door when using the toilet. The breakfast was very poor as the sausages were still frozen in the middle! The staff were not too bothered about this when we complained.
Honestly this is the perfect hotel for Central London, loads of places to eat and drink, transport links excellent, staff, hotel and breakfast very very good. don`t hesitate to book this no negative comment to make.
Rooms were very small , although we had a larger room it had 4 beds and not much space, got a crick in the neck watching the TV, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was not the best and the dining room was small and cramped and very hot and stuffy, only did one night, but it served it`s purpose.
Hotel very clean, breakfast excellent and all staff very friendly would definitely stay again
I had booked on behalf of myself and three friends. We were pleased that we were in the same room however it was very cramped. It was not clean, dirty under the beds and dirty shower. We had booked to have full English breakfast. We were not welcomed into the dining room and after about 5 minutes asked about our breakfast. There was no orange juice, no fruit (they had run out of bananas) the bread was stale however the crumpets were nice. Our breakfast arrived and it was cold. I said to the staff that it was cold and she said "no". After telling her three times I told her to take it back to the kitchen as I wasn`t going to eat it and she bought out another hot breakfast. This should not have happened...and was not a good ending to our weekend. We did mention as we left the hotel about the breakfast and the receptionist said we could email the hotel to complain and they would give us a refund off a future stay - we would never want to stay there again.
Just spent a very comfortable night at Huttons hotel. The rooms are compact but certainly not uncomfortably small as other reviews have said. The bathrooms are up to date, very clean with a lovely hot and spacious shower. The bed was beautifully clean and comfortable. I won`t hesitate to book this hotel again.
Good location, easy to get to & clean comfortable beds BUT hotel was a rabbit warren of endless corridors and unnecessary loose rugs on laminate flooring, major trip/slip hazard. Our twin room had each bed up against a wall with about 30cm space between (barely enough for one small chunky 2 drawer unit) & an extremely small bathroom - only as wide as the approx 120 cm width of shower enclosure, No Air Con, No Wardrobe/storage just hanging rail & 6 hangers, No headboards, No hairdryer, No room safe, No TV remote; kettle, mugs & tea/coffee sachets but no milk, No plug in minuscule washbasin - narrower than my toothbrush - No grab/safety rail in shower, no shelving for toiletries & not at all like the twin rooms pictured on hotel website, Breakfast acceptable with Full English cooked when requested, not kept hot buffet style, however, without air con, the breakfast room was so hot that the drinking water available was actually lukewarm: was advised a hairdryer available from reception,
Hotel was within walking distance of the theatre and train station, very clean hotel, would stay again
Horrible breakfast Small room that was really a double. Camp bed thrown in. Very hot room.
Unhelpful and breakfast was poor no organisation or help to let you know what`s to do. Room was tiny no hairdryer and very dusty and cobwebs around the window which they have Cleaned to where they could reach looks terrible
Staff very welcoming rooms nice and clean but a little too noisy traffic wise for us as we live out in the countryside so mot used to it.
Ants in room. Beds extremely uncomfortable. Multiple cob webs around ceiling
Staff Friendly. Rooms basic but very clean and up to date. I found that the breakfast area could do with a bit more signage as the first morning we had no idea what to do and where anything was and none of the other guests spoke English so there was no one to ask.Apart from that everything was great and would recommend staying at Huttons Hotel.
Clean and simple. The perfect hotel for a quick visit. Close to tube and bus stations.
Lovely hotel room was spotless comfy beds staff was polite and helpfull will use this hotel again
Friendly staff, cosy warm room close to Tube, Victoria and plenty of bars, places to eat. shops all within walking distance. Breakfast was lovely and they even let us keep our cases there for free after we checked out. Would definitely stay here again!
Only a couple of minutes away from the tube station, friendly staff and very clean.Very good English breakfast with lots of other choice ir you`re still hungry or fancy a change. The bed was really comfy too. Would definitely stay here again.
Bed not comfortable but very clean and nice breakfast
Our stay at the Huttons has been excellent. No faults, staff are warm and friendly and very helpful. Overall we are very happy with our 2 day stay in london. We are planning on coming back.
Hotel was basic no telephone in room We had a noisy neighbour playing loud music till late on last night but after a visit to front desk as we had no telephone it was sorted promptly.
cosy hotel
After reading some of the reviews we were apprehensive about our choice. We didn`t need to be. Great location, easy walking distance to theatre, very clean and warm accommodation, friendly staff. .
Location perfect, Restaurant and Housekeeping staff were excellent. Good value for money
Very surprised at reading the bad reviews about this place. Hotel was very clean and well presented. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Whilst not being a 5 star hotel it doesn`t try to be so I think other people should be more realistic with what they write in their reviews. If they want perfection pay the ectra money and stay at the ritz. If however you want a clean affordoable hotel with friendly staff then stay here
Clean, quiets hotel, perfect spot for exploring London close to the Victoria station. Breakfast offers where very good value for money
Great location, quiet and friendly but please turn the heating down it was unbearable. Window wide open in the middle of January to try and cool it down
Really nice hotel , the service was really good nothing was a bother. I would use this hotel again
Good location but the hotel is in need of a little tlc. The room was small and very basic and had a funny smell. The breakfast looked good but
