Room was on 7th floor and was disappointed to notice strong smell of stale tobacco. Room ready on early arrival was a bonus. Cups not washed on first morning and tea facilities not topped-up. Excellent and extensive breakfast menu in airy and light restaurant but had to find someone to bring tea and coffee. Reception staff cheery and most helpful and concierge knowledgable and successful in obtaining first class theatre tickets. Overall, not cheap but good value for money.
We arrived at the hotel the light was terrible in the room so they took away one lamp to repair. The room was so tiny there was nowhere to deposit our suitcases so we had to ask them to remove a chair. The air conditioning blew out warm over even after complaining about it. The shower was like from the 1930`s. The temperature of the water couldn`t be controlled and the flow of the water was not in any way satisfactoey so it was necessary to use the hand unit. I did complain to the reception desk but was told we were in the old part of the hotel that still needed upgrading. She refunded five pounds $7 for the minibar. I feel strongly we should be refunded at least one night of the stay.
Excellent breakfast, good location just a short walk from SELFRIDGE`S, opposite Portman Square, staff very helpful and attentive. Room itself spacious, could use some refurbishing but that said bed was very comfortable.
Upon arrival the reception staff were not that helpful. I was kept waiting as there were only 2 staff on and once served I was not directed where the lift was as I have done in previous hotels, Radisson included. The lift I chose went up to the one side of the Hotel and it was the opposite side to my room, being on the 9th floor with 3 cases in our party this was very much an inconvenience. Eventually found the correct lift only to find it didn`t operate normally - another hotel guest showed me how to use the lift with the room key...this should have been explained upon checking in !!!However, I am pleased to say that once this little blip was over staff were very helpful. Service at breakfast was very quick and efficient, which was excellent especially how busy it was. They were also very good in advising how to get Euston on day of departuren AND it was accurate.Thanks for a great stay !
Quick efficient check in. Room was lovely, light and airy, very clean and comfortable.Breakfast was exceptional sooo much choice.Concierge Stuart was most helpful, sorting out rice to throw at a wedding and organising a ticket for a show at very short notice. Excellent value for money will stay again thankyou.
Good hotel, centrally placed with extremely helpful staff.Rooms were rather small and cramped, which was disappointing.
All the ataff at the holel were very friendly, upgraded to business class room just by asking at time of booking-in and joining "Gold Club". Prices in the restarunt & bar expensive but that is London. Breakfast was included, very good on Friday but only average on Satiurday & Sunday almost as if one standard for business guests in week & visitors at weekend? Room a little tired but clean.A hotel we will stay in again.
Our stay at the Radisson Blu Portman was excellent and I cannot praise it highly enough. The staff were very friendly and obliging and our bedroom was very comfortable and well appointed. One of the things that made the stay so pleasant, I happened to mention that it was my wife`s birthday. Late in the afternoon a beautiful sweet was delivered to our room on a plate decorated with "Happy Birthday". Nice touch!! Highly recommended Hotel.
It all depends what you want !!! - Good value, quality hotel in a good, safe location of London, then here you have it. No extra charges for a variety of good quality breakfast, that`s why we chose the Radisson Blu, we`ve been to Radisson before and not been disappointed. The room layout needs reorganising, but you have everything in your room that you require - maybe a bit too much. Nevertheless, we will be returning. Thank you.

Overall our stay was fine, we booked a standard room , it was very small , we asked to upgrade to superior which was slightly bigger and better lay out. Service was very good , however we found checking in at reception not up to standard ! We were the only ones at the reception desk and there seemed to be alot of faffing about.

Hotel staff very nice, including front desk, bar and restaurant, breakfast was excellent, hotel very pleasant but the room was too small for two people, and we are only small people, would recommend an upgrade assuming these rooms are bigger. Good location for Oxford Street shopping.
Booked 3 rooms, 2 twin & 1 family (accessible). twin rooms fine, family room (accessible) was just a standard double accessible room with an extra `put-me-up` bed added in the room, also it was a smoking room, smelling strongly of previous smoke & next doors passive smoke...........
The design of the room was pleasing and cleaned to a good standard. However the iron didn`t work - cupboard in lobby had a part missing - problems with minibar - broken mirror on dressing table - balcony window lock broken. Breakfast was good but the service was poor, even saw staff resetting a table with used napkins! Concierge and front door staff very helpful. Gym was closed.
only complaint was the hot breakfast buffet was cold,but staff quickly sorted the problem.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the RBP recently. Good location, friendly staff, extremely comfortable bed and a fabulous breakfast. Also liked the tasteful Christmas decorations in the reception area and lounge. Would stay there again.
Location and party held that night made it extremely noisy. We left 24 hours earlier than planned. VAT added to every bill, tray charge for room service. Very disappointing.
Staff excellent, room average considering we had a free upgrade it had a broken toilet seat and a cracked leaking cup with the tea making facility. On arrival the balcony door of the room was open (in the middle of winter) it took the rest of the day to warm up.

We booked two rooms, one for myself and my husband and one for two daughters. Unfortrunately our daughters found that ther room was dirty and although the reception staff moved them without any fuss the second room was cold- staf found that the heating system did not work and supplied heaters.Breakfast was good although there was a 15 minute wait for a table.
All you would expect from a 4* London Hotel - the staff are friendly and well trained, too.

Enjoyable stay Hotel very clean Beds Great- Fluffy Towels on Day one great. Couple of small issues- Locks on Balcony windows did not work . While Reception Staff pleasant could perhaps have been a bit warmer . Want to commend AOB in the business centre who really went out of his way to try and assist us when printer on internet failed to print boarding passes. Couple of small issues - Safe in Room did`nt work. Lock on Balcony Windows did`nt work.

Nice room but noisy due to the position of the room over the fans for the aircon. staff helpful.Booking was wrong (again) Was given a double non smoking instead of a twin, smoking but the Hotel upgraded us to business as compensation. Fab coffee machine!
