Relatively quiet location not far from metro station. Rooms small but adequate & breakfast was normal continental style but more than enough. Clean, small friendly hotel. Would recommend
The hotel is located in a convenient part of Paris with good Metro connections. The room was an acceptable size for Paris. Two lights in the room were out of order and I told reception about this on three separate occasions but nothing was done to fix them. We booked a double room which turned out to be a twin room. The breakfast left something to be desired. Cheese in pre-packed plastic was not very enticing. We were asked to wait ten minutes before being seated, even though it was within the timeframe for breakfast. One stay in the hotel was enough.
The hotel`s location is extremely convenient. Its a second walk to the nearest Metro station, and from there it is only stops away from the musee D`Orsay, Eiffel tower, Notre Dame, and Invalides. As for the hotel itself, the rooms are small and pokey, smell of stale cigarettes, and lack any distict sense of character. Having said that, the bathroom was very clean, as was the room. The area around the hotel, although near to the main sites, was not itself very pleasant. Drunken, singing tramps, urinating vagrants, and fist fights were all audible and visible from the comforts of our room. Its an ok place to stay if you in Paris for a fun night with your friends, but if you are there for a romantic holiday - forget it, try another hotel.
Not in a particularly nice part of town. The so called bar did not serve any beer/lager, only minatures and cans from a vending machine. The breakfast was supposed to be served until 10am but once basic food items had run out (usually before 9am) no more were put out. Everything seemed very below standard - more like a 2* hotel.
the hotel was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The ameneties were of a high quality, bathroom very clean, lovely clean towels and a nice comfortable bed. the breakfast was excellent and the staff vere very helpful.
We booked a twin room. But the room we got was so small that the 2 separate beds were literally lying together!!! ...On opening the window, all you can see in front is a construction site, with dust n mud. But the reception staff was very helpful. They gave us wonderful directions to the major attractions. I wont recommend it! not a value for money!
Room was OK but could do with painting. We were out most of the day and hotel was quiet at night although there was some noise from the street but it didn`t stop me sleeping. Our best meal was from Bistro on corner opposite the metro. My husband has reduced mobility so we used metro for one or two stops back and forward to tower. You must be at the trocadero on the hour at night to see the lighting display.!!
My husband and I really liked the Beaugrenelle. The staff were very friendly, the room was nice and comfortable (my husband suggests that perhaps the bed wasn`t designed for people of over 6 feet tall!). The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We would definitely recommend the Beaugrenelle as a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower. If we revisit that part of Paris again, we`d be more than happy to stay there.Heidi Topman
Bedroom was on ground floor which only allowed, for security reasons, windows to be open with the exterior blind down: therefore no natural light. Breakfast was very disappointing due to lack of food.
Although not up to its 3 star rating this is a friendly and efficient hotel. Really it is a bit more like a large B&B than a hotel. The rooms were adequate and a minor problem was sorted quickly - leaky shower in one room. It is about 150m from the metro and a 10-15 minute walk from the park below the Eiffel Tower. We walked it at 11pm and did not feel threatened at all. There were many friendly places to eat in the area - we started speaking in our limited French but their English was excellent. Breakfast was as expected - cereal, rolls, h.b eggs, ham, cheese and croissants. The dining room was small and hot but functional. Staff were friendly. We were able to leave baggage at the hotel on the day of checking out - we picked it up at 6pm. As a basic, clean place to stay, this is fine.
some features could do with an update, but everything is clean, staff are pleasent and room was fine.
Travel connection is excellent with the Dupliex metro station at the end of the Rue. Rooms are small but comfortable, clean and tided every day. No views of Paris though.Staff are friendly, helpful and speak good English. We stayed here for a long weekend and will use this hotel again. The price is reasonable for the location and quality of rooms.
We found the hotel room a bit tired; the "marble" bathroom had loose "marble" tiles and not what you would call spotlessly clean. Very cramped bedroom and no tea/coffee making facilities for that first cuppa in the morning - instead a mini bar. Breakfast was served in the basement and it certainly felt like a basement. Staff pleasant though no response to our complaint that the shaver socket did not work. All that said, it was within a short walking distance to the E. Tower.
staff in hotel very polite & informative , lovely place
Rooms were small, but staff were very helpful when I stayed with my mother and daughter. Location good for Dupleix metro stop (connections currently limited by station renovations), Eiffel tower and the river. We had a great stay
The bigges advantage of this hotel is very friendly staff. Localization is one of the good sides as well.
Nice, clean, tidy, pleasant hotel. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast, plenty of food. Rooms adequate for a short stay. Bathroom with powerful showers. Above all; very clean. Situated close to 3 metro stops permitting easy access to all destinations. Many shops, restaurants, bars close by. Ten minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower along a nice route. Close to the River Seine; romantic walk in the evenings. Would recommend it and would stay there again without a doubt.
We found the Beaugrenelle to be in a perfect location for sightseeing with easy access to public transport and popular landmarks.
