"Lovely Hotel, very clean, well organised, upgraded room , excellent service & polite happy staff"

Stayed over night, was pleasantly surprised by such polite and friendly staff. The hotel was clean and was well maintained. We had booked a family room, which was upgraded free of charge to an executive room, which was roomy and very comfortable. The concierge were very helpful. Can`t say one bad word.....enjoyed our stay and will use the hotel again.

"Very clean ,great location opposite Hyde Park"

This was our second stay at this Hotel and both times have been enjoyable. This last visit we were treated to a free upgrade to an executive bedroom overlooking the park. The rooms are well kept and very clean and the breakfasts are second to none. Staff are very polite and helpful. It is lovely to be able to just cross the road and walk through Hyde Park. Very Recommended.

"Clean and perfecting suited to our requirements"

No complaints at all. If you are looking for a base from which to explore London and somewhere to lay your head after a tiring dat sightseeing this hotel will fit the bill at a very reasonable cost. The rooms were clean and all staff very helpful.

"A hotel for small people only"

Small bedroom I could live with but the bath/shower was awful. I`m 6`2 and could not stand up straight in the shower, it was a health hazard. Any tall or large people avoid this hotel.

"The hotel double room was so small that it could accommodate chair in the room."

A room which you pay about £160 per night had only one bad chair for a double bed room. The double bed was so small that we had to pay extra £20 per night to upgrade to another room. The double bed room was to small that we could accommodate our luggage. If you have to travel as a couple the double bedroom should be avoided. Breakfast (English) was too monotonous without variety of fruits. The concierge should be more helpful with luggage at arrival. The internet service is good, rooms are clean and staff are helpful

"Ok London hotel.Not exceptional value for money."

This Htoel was average.I am not unhappy with the stay but would look elsewhere next time.Biggest disapointment was the concierge.2 staff at the concierge desk watched me struggle with 4 pieces of luggage out of the cab and into the foyer.

"Good location for Hyde Park Events"

Stayed here for the weekend we were attending Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park. Rooms are clean if small and basic. Breakfast was excellent, staff were feriendly. Would stay here again but only if I was going to Hyde Park.

"Who rated this hotel as a four star! Very basic bedrooms, more like a hostal. "

Corus Hotel, nice facade, staff quite good, breakfasts fine, but the rooms are ridiculous, very small, basic in style, bathrooms tiny. OK if viewed as a `base` and the area works for the trip. However if you like four star accomodation do not book this hotel you will be very disapointed.

We arrived at the Corus to find that we were upgraded to an Executive Room.What a lovely surprise! Staff couldnt be nicer and we found the hotel location great and would certainly recommend and stay there again.

" breakfast headache"

everything fine except for breakfast time on both mornings had to ask where the bowls plates and cutlery were on both mornings tea and coffee machines went empty ordered toast got it on saturday didnt on sunday noticed a lot of frustration from other guests relating to same issues you get the impression from staff that the same issues arise every time more than two people have to eat simultaneously quality of breakfast good when you eventually get it though

"Great location very close to the tube station,lovely hotel."

The hotel was very nice although our room was very small and we only had a tiny shower,no bath. However we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and maid service was great. Breakfast was included in the price & was a hot buffet which was great. I would stay again & would recomend to friends.

The Corus Hyde Park is in a fantastic location - only a two minute walk from Lancaster Gate tube station and the Central Line which is perfect for accessing all the sights. The rooms are a bit small but that`s to be expected for a central London location. I had seen bad reports about the scrum at breakfast but didn`t have any problems on Saturday or Sunday with queues. The food was excellent. Check-in was quick and effortless as was check-out. Overall, the staff couldn`t do enough to help. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Tiny rooms and even smaller bathrooms. Service was friendly but very minimal and facilities were limited. I do not understand why this hotel is classed as 4*. It deserves 3 at most. It`s not hugely expensive I realise but for over £100 per night I would expect a lot more.

"Good Location, easy access to tube and buses"

Shame they ask you to get down before 8.30 to avoid queuing for breakfast! Surely the point of paying for accommodation with breakfast is to get breakfast when you want. The Hotel staff were pleasant even under a lot of pressure from hungry guests. Management should decide if full english breakfast is to be provided and make provision to do it properly.The room was on the small side but ok for 2 nights weekend break for us. Some draws or storage would be useful in the room. It`s dominated by a large desk. For the mid week business clients? Taxi to show in Piccadilly was good value for 4 people, £10 there and £17 return.
