Ongoing construction site which not made aware of when booked and at check in. Very noisy between 8 and 17:30. Male receptionist at check in and out was not personable and quite rude when I inquired about parking discount as advised by Hotel Direct. Quite dismissive when raised the point about construction and noise. Breakfast team in restaurant compensated for this. Very personable and attentive. Breakfast very high standard. Fantastic location

Hotel is in a great location, just behind the Royal Mile. Lovely and clean, friendly and helpful staff. Initially we were given a small room which overlooked a building site, spoke to reception and we were moved to a much better room with a view to the front of the hotel. Not the most picturesque spot for views from your room, but great location for getting to all the sites and station.

This is a delightful hotel so close to Waverley Station with friendly helpful staff. The rooms are very nicely presented with comfortable warm beds. Everything you need, cannot find any fault.

The exterior of Jurys Inn is bland and uninviting, but don`t let that put you off. The room we had was large and recently refurbished by the look of it. King sized bed was very comfortable and the en suite had a lovely walk in shower. We were on a rail / hotel deal on a room only basis. The room was impressive and the central location of the hotel was brilliant. We would thoroughly recommend Jurys Inn to anyone who wants classy accommodation right in the middle of town. The staff were helpful and polite too. A super place to stay.

Hotel on arrival very pleasant ,couldn`t get into our room till 4pm ( a bit late) after travelling. Room was very nice, annoying listening to air con all night. Had breakfast, very bland food not hot enough , cold plates. Staff very pleasant

Happy stay , here the room was decorated to high standard, will try and ask for a room with the train line view next time as we overlooked the back area where the trash cans are and the back of the houses on the royal mile , breakfast nice and staff very helpful and friendly, please note there is currently some floors been refurbished and there are builders and workmen`s on site during the day causing some noise issues if you come back to your room during the day , which shouldn`t be a problem if you have a busy daily schedule, overall I was impressed with its location in the middle of the old and new Edinburgh, straight next to the railway station so no taxis needed here , thanks again Jury Inn we will meet again some day

Booked a combined rail/hotel package. Location is perfect. 5 minutes walk from Waverley Station. Check in was smooth facilitated by a pleasant woman. Room 706 was on the top floor. Great views and spotless. 2 mins walk from the Royal Mile. 5 mins walk from Princes St. Didn`t eat or drink there so don`t know about that aspect. Recommended.

Great location

Very close to the railway station, which was ideal. Staff extremely helpful and polite. Towelling robes, slippers and toiletries provided, which was good. Only downside being breakfast unavailable (due to redevelopment work) but apart from that, everything else was okay.

Generally quiet although our room overlooked the Service Yard and there was some noise from there overnight. Room 402 door needs adjusting, although it could have just been some very inconsiderate guests overnight on the 26th December!

Clean comfortable and friendly staff

After experiencing some awful hotels via coach tours we were very extremely happy to be staying in a lovely, clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast was delicious.

Only downside was shower curtain. Nobody still uses them because of static.

Great location for the Old Town and Waverly Station. Staff very friendly, lovely buffet breakfast. Our room wasn`t ready at check in time but this was mitigated by a complimentary coffee and, as we had to go out, putting our bags in the room. Would definitely return.

Hotel could do with some updating. Our double room was clean and a good size but not very warm. There was some noise from the railway and the building site next door but the views over Edinburgh more than made up for this. Staff at reception the dining room and bar were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend if only for the full Scottish breakfast each morning.

My main issue with Jurys is the use of a central booking agency which is not meaningfully connected to each hotel. I know that my experience is not unique and that others have experienced the frustration of long unhelpful telephone conversations going nowhere.

On arrival we were few hours early. We were able to store our bags in a secure room until later when we returned back to the hotel. We had option for room with a view of quiet room at the back. The front room was in 1st floor and despite previous reviews found it not to be noisy at all. We had good nights sleep. Room was clean and tidy. Extra pillows and cover were great! Nice to relax at the end of a long day of sight seeing put tv on with free view channels and free wifi to check emails and messages. Great powerful shower and bath filled up quickly! Buffet breakfast in the morning with a good rsnfe of options for a healthy or filling breakfast. Later was able to store our bags again for the day until we were ready to get our train very near to the hotel. Great location. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

but the breakfast staff appeared stressed and not helpful. The breakfast bar was empty both mornings We had long waits for porridge and cooked breakfast. Juice had ran out and smoothies bottles not refilled. However our rooms appeared clean and were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated vacation time of 12pm lunch time

My sister and I stayed at Jury`s Inn Edinburgh. The staff were so helpful, polite & friendly. The hotel was very clean & well presented. The bar and restaurant were very good with a lovely choice of food. I would highly recommend it.

Very good hotel. Goodsized room and very good breakfast close to Waverley Station. Taxis available within a few steps. Ideal for Edinburgh University Graduations.

Hotel very well situated near Waverley Station and Royal Mile. Very clean but getting ready for refurbishment. Breakfast very good.

Room noisybecause it faced the station, hotel needs triple glazing! However, food very good and staff are excellent . Also location is superb, central for everything we needed.
