Just what you needed for a night stay, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean and pleasant. We did find the dresser lamps bulb out which made the dresser not so well lit. But obviously this I`d imagine isn`t a common occurrence. I`d also mention that the nearest underground line is a 10 minute bus trip away. Perhaps we missed this when booking the hotel, but found this wasn`t as convenient a location as we first thought. That being said the bus was very frequent and the trip short, it was more just the additional expense in travelling.
Delightful room but strange wind noise on the last night - sounded like a jet taking off every few minutes! Bed very very comfortable, room delightful, bathroom smashing, food great. Highly recommend.
Excellent location for our needs. Breakfasts a must, you won`t be disappointed. All the staff were very friendly + nothing too much trouble. Pedro in the restaurant was exceptional, he went out if his way to make sure we were happy+ well looked after and the bar staff were fantastic. We have stayed here before + would do again. The room this time was on the small side and the TV set to a maximum volume which if you are hard of hearing you wouldn`t be able to hear, we struggled.
The directions for the hotel could have been better, we were told to take the tube to Earls court and then a bus, with no mention of the overground railway two minutes from the hotel. it was so easy to travel to shephers bush and then take the underground into central london.
A lovely hotel, excellent food in both the bar and the restaurant. Bar prices reflect the area of London and are a little OTT, and the bar staff needed more training. For example, one night the gas had gone on the lager and the barman did not know how to change it. Bar staff need cellar training!. However, apart from that it was an enjoyable stay and I would definitely go there again.
If i was to critisize anything then it would be the Rump steak dinner for the price you pay there is not much off it! 1 mushroom and a pepper sauce that didn`t taste of pepper at all!
My only complaint was that the pillows were like lying on a boulder in a pillowcase. Most uncomfortable.
And one of the best buffet breakfasts. Staff all very pleasant. Blue. Elephant Thai restaurant had moved from Fulham Broadway to building on river n.ot 200 yards from jury`s. Bud and tube method to Heathrow only practical if you little luggsgr
A lovely welcoming hotel. Thst was very clean and fresh. A lovely bright room with a very cosy comfy bed. Breakfast was Great! Lots of choice! Would defo recommend this hotel to a friend! Outside was very safe and quiet, great place to stay if you have kids.
The hotel is great. Big, comfortable bedrooms with all amenities. Very nice (self-service) breakfasts. surprised we got such a nice hotel for the price. Whilst it isn`t very near a tube station it is next to Imperial Wharf overground station and the C3 bus stop.
Good value
The service , rooms and breakfast were of a high standard. At breakfast there was a long wait for the croissants but their freshness when they eventually arrived, made it all worthwhile! We very much enjoyed our stay. Many thanks to the friendly and attentive staff.
Our stay on Sat evening was very enjoyable apart from a group of Irish people who were standing outside the front of the hotel at about 5o/c in the morning, making a racket whilst having a cigarette. It woke us up and couldnt back to sleep again.
Poor service levels and inter-departmental communication (one assumes) resulted us being allocated a room that had had the hot water valve turned off. Why? Because it was threatening to flood the restaurant on the ground floor. No problems with that but why were we given a room that was effectively sub-standard. Naturally we complained and then without assistance had to pack up our cases once again and move to another (admittedly) bigger room but which was definitely noisier. One would have the question the competence level of the front-line staff who happily directed me to the Kings Road Chelsea by pointing out my route in completely the wrong direction. Her blushes were spared by a colleague who fortunately overheard the error in directions that she gave. Our complaint about the room was deflected saying that any issues we had would have to be taken up with yourselves as we hadn`t made the booking directly with them. Over to you then I guess.....
staff were helpful and the hotel was fine, but what we didnt realise was that we needed to catch a tube and then a bus to get to the hotel and the same to return into London for sightseeing. We bought an Oyster card which was great but spent more time and money on the travelling back and forth which was a shame but not knowing London we were not aware of this at the time and by the time we had directions to the hotel we had paid up and couldnt change our venue!
all i was looking for
definitely on my list of places to stay in London
The Hotel is in a good location and it is clean and comfortable.
The Hotel was modern, clean, comfortable.
Nice hotel, rooms comfortable and clean. Pillows a little too hard and plump though! Breakfasts very good (love a buffet!), however this should have been included in the room price as we paid well over £400 for 2 nights. Overall a good experience though.
We found the staff very helpful and the hotel very convenient for the Design Centre. Pillows rather hard. Breakfast was good.
I have only praise for Jury`s Chelsea Hotel. Everything from booking with hoteldirect went smoothly. The hotel has undergone a complete refurbishment which is contemporary and slick, Staff are tidy in appearance and helpful. I was offered an upgrade to a superior room for £20 which I took. The room was beautiful, comfortable, noise free. I would recommend Jury`s Chelsea to my friends.
Reception welcomed us which was good. However at 05:00hrs there were Spanish youths running up and down the corridors in just their pants, shouting and taking photo`s on their mobiles.I informed the reception the they offered me a free drink that is it!. No other option except he did mention that due to already being unpacked It would be a pain to move. The room we were in was not good next to the lift. Evertime some came out of the lift we heard all the talking right upto to the early hours. The heating system in the room was sited by the room door. There was a loud noise coming from this vent every night we were there no good.
No negative comments about the hotel other than that it was a bit cold in the beds! Very thin quilts and no spare blankets as the hotel was full. But that may just be me!! The guests in the next room came back at 1.30am and were shouting and laughing loudly but the hotel is not to blame for this - just some people are very inconsiderate! Breakfast was good and were only charged £20 for 2 adults and 2 kids for a eat all you want buffet. Good location right by Imperial Wharf overhead station.
hotel was great everything besides the parking, the local car parks are expensive and not very good, the hotel was clean and warm, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast 10 out of 10 for value.
hotel was clean supplies in bathroom were welcomed, bar was slow service but friendly, ice machine was very useful, fold out beds for the children were great but my child would have liked a quilt not a sheet and blanket. overall very happy good rail access into town.
Jurys Inn, Chelsea is a clean and comfortable hotel. We found the staff to be excellent and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide choice of hot and cold fare. The hotel is well located with and good value compared to other `budget` hotels. Highly recommended!
This is a great hotel. We had a large family room. The staff are all very polite. Breakfast was fine, but the restaurant food is not very good. Two families complained as we did. The menu sounds fine, but the quality is poor. They change the ingredients to suit themselves. ie the pear and apple tart, was just pear, and the sauce was changed. Same for main courses. Not worth the money.
The hotel is in a lovely location, all the communal areas were clean & to a nice standard...unfortunately we were placed in a small corner room to the back off the hotel...with a lovely view of the car park for the councils refuse wagons :-( would stay here again but with the request of a room at the front of the hotel.
difficult to access via underground. Connecting trains infrequent, but plenty of taxis and only 15 pounds to get right into centre of London. Recommended.
Lovely location,hotel a bit tired!
Breakfast an extra £10 per person not value (so avoided) - room rate on key card was £25 less than booking with Hotel Direct - so i`d try Direct to hotel first !! booked thinking this was close to the Natural History Museum - and it is quite close so long as you dont mind 3 1 stop tube rides.
Upgraded to a superior which was a lovely Laura Ashley room, quite spacious, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast not the best and some of the Reception staff need to be more friendly and accommodating.
