"Comfortable and friendly... a little difficult if you dont have a car. "
A good place for a short stay near York, although if you do not drive you will need to make use of taxis to get in and out of the city. Indeed there is very little in the way of shops, restaurants, pubs etc nearby, you`ll need a car/taxi to get anywhere. Clean and comfortable rooms, included breakfast and free hot drinks and juice 24hrs a day plus free wi-fi. Sadly the Breakfast really isn`t particularly vegan friendly and neither is the Toby Carvery(the clue is in the name I guess) next door which calls last orders at a very early 10pm. However the staff at both places are very friendly and accommodating... Overall am enjoyable and comfortable stay.

"Great hotel but awful location"
To describe it as central York is very misleading and as we were not in a car it added to the cost of our stay.
