Clean room nice staff would stop here again

Tv wouldn`t work and shower running cold but other than that average.

Picked at random and was pleasantly surprised, the hotel is well positioned and offers service and comfort at a really reasonable price, would definitely use again when we next visit London for a long weekend. Nice one Tavistock Hotel

Staff were excellent. Very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were really clean; could do with leaving a few more tea bags/coffee in the rooms. Two tea drinkers and only 2 tea bags! Shame bar closes at 11pm a number of guests having returned from theatre shows couldn`t get a night cap! Receptionist take on this role from 11-12pm in other hotels.

I won`t rush back to stay at the hotel, our room have a street view with road works going on all hours of the night we had no sleep as the road works we`re constant with no warning from the hotel that there might be disturbance! The only rest we got was 4am-6am absolutely ridiculous. Not a great start to spending the day in London !

Had a great 3 days at the Tavistock hotel. We ate a bar meal but it wasn`t up to the high standards of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful but the meal let the bar down.

Very welcoming staff, a great variety for breakfast, an all you can eat buffet at a great price. The only thing for us that let it down was, room a little tatty and dated. Annoying creaky floor boards. It was also very hot in our room, could see anyway of turning radiator off, which meant we had to leave the windows open. This unfortunately meant that we were woken a few times by traffic and passers by at the early hours. However, the bed and pillows were very comfy.

Great location, adequate for 1 night. The hotel location is good, main areas are lovely but the rooms were very tired. Adequate for what we needed. Would have been nice to have breakfast included but this was additional cost.

Looking a little tired but overall very good, everything works, good shower, comfortable bed, clean bedding and towels. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices. Hotel is walking distance from Euston and Russell Square so it`s easy to get around. Overall a very pleasant short break.

Good location for Aldwych. Hotel staff pleasant and helpful. Room small, overlooking very noisy boiler room. Smelly bathroom.

Spacious bedrooms, nice coffee/bar area and decent breakfast. Some of our party found rooms too hot and difficult to turn heating down.

Staff were very helpful. Room was adequate but light above bed wasn`t working. Curtains wouldn`t close properly. Toilet had water running constantly.,

Hotel is very handy for the city, room was cleaned daily during a 5 day stay, comfortable and clean, only a small downside, the shower was over the bath, difficult with a bad leg but otherwise fabulous

Super breakfast buffet so much to choose from would recommend getting it if you go Bed was harder than I`m used to

One night stopover. Room fit for purpose, if a bit warm - no airconditiong. Fan provided which helped but not completely comfortable. Had issue with electrics in the room but sorted very promptly and courtesly by housekeeping. Nice bathroom with good quality complimentary shampoo etc. Nice bar. Well positioned for access to theatre land and Victoria

Perfectly situated, close to Euston, with pleasant surroundings, and attentive and friendly staff. Well priced, and highly recommended

Central hotel, close to tube. Staff friendly and professional. Basic room but clean with comfy beds. Plenty choice for breakfast. Communal areas warm and welcoming.

Easy to find from Kings Cross, within walking distance. It`s in a good location. The hotel is spotless! Couldn`t fault the cleanliness of our room. We chose room only but we did have a meal in the attached pub, Wolf and Whistle and it was delicious, fresh and very reasonably priced. Very friendly staff in the hotel. Only thing I would say is the shower curtain sticks to you whilst showering, it`s a friendly one, haha. Shower good pressure. The theatre break was outstanding value and highly recommended. This hotel is central to the train station and theatre, 15 minute walk each way. There are a couple of lovely little parks near too if you want to escape the hustle and bustle. Brilliant!!

Asked for a double room and we got a small room with single beds.This was my birthday weekend and it was disappointing .There was a loud banging noise so we hardly slept.

Room was small but very clean . Well worn carpet in bedroom . Quite noisy when trying to get to sleep. Can hear television from next door and the occupants talking. I asked the receptionist for an iron too use said one would come to room it didn`t , tried housekeeping phone not answered. Room card keys didn`t work one night receptionist not very receptive to the issue . Receptionist on arrival very friendly and informative. Breakfast was great plenty of choice good replenished frequently staff very hard working as busy but still cheerful.

Fine hotel sited in good position half hour walk to theatres. Good 3 star bedrooms not large but OK. Breakfast that we paid extra for was good value and quality

Gorgeous art deco style. Courteous staff. Small but comfy single beds. Clean room. Bar expensive and at breakfast, which was otherwise very good, there was no coffee served at table 128542; you had to queue at a machine.

The staff were friendly & helpful, the accommodation comfortable, breakfast was excellent. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Everything was excellent at this hotel. Staff were friendly room was cleaned and bed was extra comfy had great nights sleep! Would definitely stay again.
