The hotel was nice and comfortable and very centrally located. The staff were very good and helpful, including a special treat for my wife on her birthday. Happy to recommend

I chose The Strand Palace expecting a little bit of luxury and a nice room. The room was basic at best. Very uncomfortable bed, blocked sink that won`t drain and a shower with a fine mist of water. Very disappointed as the rest of the hotel appeared to be very nice. The only bonus was the distance from the theatre was a five min walk

The location of the hotel was great. Short distance to Covent Garden and lots of other attractions, Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square all in walking distance. The hotel had lots of friendly helpful staff who were very accommodating but the restaurant was very busy at breakfast time with queues for breakfast and the bedroom was a little on the small side with only one chair but other than that the facilities were good.

Exceptional staff who were willing to go above and beyond. The hotel was spotless. Definitely worth the money

Our room was a little smaller than it looked on photos but it was quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed. Only one armchair in room tho and one of us had to sit on the bed . Hotel itself in prime position for all attractions/ theatres etc . The staff kind, helpful , efficient and curteous . Breakfasts exceptional. Thank you for a lovely stay . This is a really well located hotel for a theatre back as it just minutes tea from the Vaudeville and Adelphi theatres. I took my husband for his birthday and after emailing the hotel to mention this, they kindly left him a card, balloon and treats in the room, which was very kind. The check in lady, Carmen, was also very nice. However, there were no standard toiletries in our room such as shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, lotion or shower cap and as I`m no good at communicating in person I didn`t want to ask for any. The room was a bit too hot and small for a double room, even if it was billed as cosy. Although, kind of expected in the middle of London.

I`ve stayed at the Strand Palace quite a few times now, and am impressed each time. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and have a feel of quality about them,even the room doors are heavy and well made and you feel secure behind them! The downstairs areas are a nice place to be and the breakfast buffet is excellent, I`ll happily stay here again.

I`ve stayed at the Strand Palace a few times now . It`s a clean and well kept hotel,the buffet breakfast is excellent, with plenty of choices. The rooms have a quality feel about them and again,are clean. The hotel is set in a great location with numerous excellent pubs within a few minutes walk,Covent Garden is a 5 minute walk and the Embankment the same. I can highly recommend the Strand Palace.

Hotel was impressive from arrival to departure, staff were all professional with a friendly helpful attitude, all immaculately dressed, special mention needs to go to the barmen in the Gin Palace who were over and above welcoming and knowledgeable. Whole hotel was spotless in every aspect. Would highly recommend

We stayed in one of their cosy rooms, which was definitely cosy. Very clean and comfortable temperature. Only down side was the tv didn`t work, it kept loosing its signal and the screen was all pixelated. We watched tv on my phone! The toilet was a tight squeeze in an alcove in the bathroom so if you were on the big side, I doubt you`d be ale to use it.

Would definitely use hotel direct again, very straight forward booking process, helpful and good value for money. I booked this for my wife`s 40th Birthday, our arrival at The strand palace was outstanding,the staff were helpful, welcoming and the hotel was clean in all areas including the rooms. The options in the areas downstairs to relax with a drink were also good. Breakfast was lovely and being served at the buffet was nice and made the process quicker. Very organised. Joe Brown`s bar in the hotel was an additional treat, such a lovely atmosphere for a meal or just a drink. Staff in there were really lovely.

Brittney on reception made us feel special and we were personally presented with a bottle of prosecco for our 50th anniversary. Much appreciated.

I enjoyed my stay at the Strand Palace, I was in a single "cosy" room. Cosy meaning very small! I think it had been recently refurbished, everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a quality feel to it,there was no door to the bathroom but I don`t suppose it really matters in a single room. The rest of the hotel looked really nice and well looked after. I`ve booked to stay again.

Beautiful hotel set in the heart of London. Very modern, staff were really great and happy to help. Couldn`t do enough for you. Food was lovely. Breakfast was great. The Only downside. Rooms were very warm. Air con wasn`t that good. And house keeping team in the morning were very noisy. And the building site at the rear of the hotel was very noisy too. But highly recommend this hotel. I`d definitely stay here again

The hotel was super on all counts.We were a group of 4 ladies celebrating a 60th birthday.The rooms were clean and comfortable.A couple of lovely touches were birthday greetings in the room,and a complimentary drink,its the little touches that make a weekend away extra special.The breakfast was excellent,though not included in our package.10 out of 10.

Hoel was so good, room was very cosy and breakfast was amazing too. Very clean and the staff just couldn`t do enough for you. Very polite and helpful too.

Be aware if booking this hotel, that although the details say check in at 2, and check out at 12, the actual hours are check in at 3 and check out at 11. As I had printed off my confirmation email stating 12, I was granted a complimentary late check out.

The hotel is in the best location possible. The staff were friendly and the facilities were wonderful. The smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in, a bit like a broom cupboard size, but saying that, it was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. It was quite the adventure and made us giggle like a couple of teens!

Everything you would want and more

The Strand Palace Hotel was an excellent choice for our weekend break. Although a large hotel it did not feel impersonal and all the staff we met were helpful and friendly. Our room was on the 6th floor so we were not disturbed by any outside noise. Ideally placed within 10 -15 mins walk of Covent Garden, China Town and the major London theatres and on a bus route to further afield venues.

Great hotel and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel, very comfortable rooms, friendly & helpful staff. Pre-theatre dinner was delicious, good value for money. Central location made it easy to get around.
