Hotel staff were very helpfull and friendly,hotel itself was very clean only one bad point the mattress was in need of being changed apart from that all very good booked the hotel from hotel-direct for a concert at the O2 which is only 15 mins walk away so all in all a very good and would stay again...

We stay regularly at the express Greenwich when visiting family and it has never let us down-it has become a home from home

Our two night stay at the hotel was really enjoyable. The buffet breakfast had plenty of variety and there were no queues. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful and the bar was inviting and drinks reasonably priced. We had only two minor issues - the hotel was a little further from the O2 and Greenwich North tube station than the website suggests and although a comfortable walk it took around 15 minutes, and the rooms were rather cold. Outside temperatures were exceptionally cold during our stay which probably contributed to the problem.

This hotel is fantastic if you want to stay overnight after a visit to the O2 . It`s a 10-15 minute walk from the venue we travelled by train to London and then the underground changing twice which was very easy . Also getting into London we used the Thames Clipper service this is also a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel and easy to use and no traffic to contested with . Breakfast is included in the price which is a Buffett style with scrambled eggs, beans and sausages to chose from . Overall a great Hotel staff very friendly and easy to get to

This is my third stay at this hotel and it is perfect. The rooms are warm,clean and comfortable and the beds are divine. I always get a good nights sleep. All the members of staff are so helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was scrumptious. Well done again!

Recently stayed at this hotel for two nights whilst attending a concert at the o2. very pleased with the location, only a 10 minute walk to the o2, where you will spend most of your time as everything you need is there (food, bars etc) and no more expensive than anywhere else we have been. Hotel is pretty basic as you would expect at this price point, however all areas were clean and well kept. As it is near to some major roads we thought it would be noisy, but this was not the case and we slept well on both nights. The room was good and had everything we needed for our short stay. Breakfast was very good, with everything you wanted. All staff were polite and courteous. Getting to the Hotel was easy as its well located with regards to the tubes.....Euston to North Greenwich, don`t be put off by its location getting to the centre is easy from North Greenwich. A pleasant stay and no gripes from us. We would certainly stay here again, especially if attending the o2.

Lovely modern, spacious and friendly hotel superbly situated for Greenwhich, Docklands and the O2. 15 minutes walk from North Greenwich tube station (Jubilee Line) Rooms were nice and spacious and well equipped. Hotel lobby and public spaces nicely appointed. Breakfast was good with a nice choice of items and plenty! Staff very friendly and helpful. I have stayed at a few Holiday Inn Express hotels and the standard is always consistent and satisfactory for a mid-range/budget hotel. Will definately stay here again!

Ideal location a 10-15 minute walk to the 02 hotel clean & tidy room was comfortable, breakfast was plenty we are going back to stay in 3 weeks time

As it was raining we took a taxi the O2 for £5. Ordered by reception. Pleasantly surprised at breakfast as a good choice for an express hotel and included in the price. Overnight parking was only £7

have stayed here before for concerts at the O2. Just 10 minute walk to venue. Good value as brekky included, and excellent rooms with super shower. Recommended.

Overall an enjoyable stay. Reception and bar staff first rate. Breakfast clearance of first course not brilliant. had to ask for lemon for tea. Bathroom was not cleaned on one day, even though I was out at tennis all day, but was rectified immediately once reported to reception at about nine pm when I returned to hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is ideal if you are visiting the O2 arena or the east side of London. The O2 is a 10 minute walk or a 15 minute bus ride away. Also the same to the tube station if you want to visit London (the Jubilee line). The hotel is very professionally run. It is clean and modern. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. (they printed my boarding pass for me . No extra charge). The rooms are comfortable and clean. Good shower, air conditioning, Large TV, tea and coffee facilities with extra tea if needed when asked for. Bed was comfortable. The Hotel has good views of the surrounding area. The buffet breakfast is good with plenty of choice. Sainsburys supermarket available within walking distance and plenty of dinning out around the hotel (+in the O2 itself). I would highly recommend this hotel and will visit again if in the area.

Great service, nice place, worth it.

We were a party of 3 Adults & 4 Children (Age 16,13,10 & 6) We had comfortable rooms & a plentiful breakfast to set us up for the day. Bus stop a couple of minutes walk away back to the Underground into Central London & a 5-10 minute bus ride into Greenwich village itself. The staff were pleasant & helpful happy to use again on another trip

we arrived at just after 9pm,checked in went up to our room there was a tray of food outside the door of one of the rooms down from us.when we went down for breakfast the tray was still there and there was tissue paper all down the hall.breakfast was luke warm beans,sausages and something that was meant to be scrambled egg.just feel that it could have been better.the staff were fantastic and the room was clean and when i told staff about the tray of food it was dealt with straight away but would not stay here again.

Convenient to the O2 and underground station, fifteen minutes walk away. Hotel stands proud but some internal renovation necessary.

We cannot find any fault with with this Holiday Inn as all the staff are very helpfull and the Express is run like a well oiled piece of machinery. Brilliant.

Found the room to be clean n tidy ..sofa bed not that comfy glad it was only one night, breakfast abit disappointing as only sausage, scrambled egg ,and beans on offer for the cooked breakfast and the scrambled egg wasn`t very nice either . My son wasn`t impressed with that .. I have stayed in quite a few premier inns and there breakfast knocks spots off of that holiday inn breakfast ... Staff friendly just a average stay for me n my family

I enjoyed my one night stay at the Holiday Inn Express Greenwich. It was within walking distance of the tube (10 minutes) which was convenient. The front desk was very helpful and pleasant and the complimentary breakfast was fantastic. The only suggestion I would make is to let people know that you must have a preloaded oyster card to use the bus system. The bus doesn`t allow you to pay when you get on and there isn`t a store near the hotel to buy the oyster card. The receptionist at the front desk told me where to catch the bus, but didn`t mention they don`t take cash or credit cards (kind of important). Other than that, the hotel is very nice.

Was disappointed with breakfast in as much as only hot food was sausage , scrambled egg & beans. Bit limited that, I would have preferred bacon and mushrooms. Rest of range of foodstuff as breakfast was good. Room was OK, bit dank in the bathroom for a 1 night stay was OK

Always impressed with the professional service and accommodation/comfort . Great location for the Arena complex from where we have seen 3 RnB soul shows from a golden era of Motown/Philadelphia . Nov 2013 was Archie Bell , June 2014 Dionne Warwick and 19/8 - The Mighty Ojays . A great show is complimented with a great hotel , and that includes Holiday Inn West Berlin in July 2014 . Well Done from the City of Coventry and Coventry City FC fans

Myself and two friends chose this hotel because of the good deal on offer and it`s location - we were visiting friends in Greenwich and seeing the Tall Ships. Although it is situated by a very busy dual carriageway, this did not bother us at all. We were more than impressed by our rooms, a double and twin, which happened to be inter-connecting, which was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and at breakfast there was a good choice. If visiting Greenwich again we would not hesitate to stay here once more.
