Breakfast excellent

Rooms not the biggest, and starting to look a bit tatty around the edges. But clean and comfortable enough. Superbly situated for the tourist classics ... Champs Elysee, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe etc. Helpful staff - especially the very excellent night porter. Not enough space in the breakfast area (although the food was fine), and service too slow to warrant having breakfast here. Overall good value for money.

Very good location for major attractions, reception staff very friendly and informative, the rooms although small were very contempory and had every thing you needed even a mini-bar and very clean.Breakfast was very tasty and was just what you wanted before you started sightseeing. We will be back next year.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Brilliant market nearby on Saturday morning - easy to get into centre of Paris via metro or bus. Bedroom clean but electrics a bit dodgy - bedside lamp had a mind of its own, and my adaptor is still attached to the socket - didn`t dare remove it in case the whole thing came off with it. Overall though - we enjoyed the stay,

The bedrooms are not large or luxurious, but very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also extremely clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Looked out of our balcony window and the eifel tower was at the end of the street. Very good location with some very nice cafes and restaurants nearby, including an itialian 4 doors down which had a brilliant atmosphere and good food. Would definitely recommend.

I thought our room was perfect! Everything was clean, and beds were comfy.

First time staying in Paris and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. The Hotel was well located only 5-10 mins walk from the Eiffel Tower (with a great view from our bedroom window) and 10 mins walk from the Champs D`Elysees. Only 2 mins walk around the corner was the Metro. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful both on reception and during breakfast. The rooms were clean and tidy with a good sized ensuite. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is clean but I was dissapointed after seeing the website. We also booked Triple rooms - but these were double rooms with a put you up bed included+

only stayed on night (for the paris marathon) but hotel staff were so friendly despite our very limited french. room was okay and fine for overnight stay. reception area and lounge were very nice, great to relax in and read the supplied english language newspapers. highly recomended at the price.

The hotel was comfortable and staff very helpful. We had reserved a twin room but were offered a double. This was not suitable and ended up with a double room with a `put you up` bed which limited the space in the room.

Nice friendly hotel, but they got their bookings mixed up and we had to stay in another hotel on the first night. We were not very happy about that! Otherwise, very friendly staff and helpful. The restaurant that they recommended on our last night was not great, but cannot fault the hotel for location and comfort - just had a major gripe with the room booking problem, that was not acceptable.

Tea and coffe facilities in room needed/also steam iron in ironing room needed, the pull down bed was very uncomfortable and inadequate.

Helpful staff, reaasonable price. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. Rooms were basic but clean, tidy and welcoming. The biggest plus to this booking was the location right off the Arc de Triumphe and Eiffel Tower - perfect.

Very well situated. Small rooms. Try to get one overlooking the indoor garden. Excellent base for exploring Paris.

Although in France many hotels do not have tea/coffee making facilities, it would be a plus for the Elysees Union if they did think about incorporating that facility in rooms. Continental breakfast and breakfast staff very good.

we booked hotel 2 months in advance but when we arrived they said they had a problem with 2 rooms and ours was one of them. we were sent to the best western hotel about 200metres away. we recieved no compensation or letter of apology or phone call to see if we were ok.

Can you please change your check in time 12:00 from the website to 14:00. It is not nice for people to come from another country thinking the check in time is 12:00 so that we can freshen up before going out to get dissapointed because we have to waste two hours just waiting to check in. This is really inconvenient for people who comes just to spend the weekend there.

My husband and i stayed at the elysees hotel during our stay in Paris and had a vey enjoyable stay. The staff were very helpful and polite and did not laugh at my feeble attempts to communicate in french. The hotel is a very central base when in Paris and we would definately stay there again on any future trips to Paris

when we arrived at hotel (with internet reciept in hand) we were inform the hoel was over booked and that they had booked us into their sister hotel ...The Elysees Ceramic, 34 Avenue de Wagram, Champs-Elysees, 75008 . They ordered us a taxi and provided us with tea as we waited on the taxi. We were not charged for the taxi or tea ! It was disappointing since we had booked this hotel... But "The Elysees Ceramic, " was clean very close to the Arc De Triomphe and was fine for a nights stay in Paris.Only problem there... Internet keyboard in English was broken. I would be happy to reccommed this "The Elysees Ceramic" Hotel

Hotel is wonderful and in a great location. The staff are fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel.

As a party of four in our late fifties we found the location of the hotel in a great position quiete but handy to bars and restaurants.The hotel was clean although the rooms we were in needed a spot of paint here and there etc.the Lounge was wlecoming and very comfortable but all exceeded by their excellent staff.I personnaly had a busness trip on the Monday and the young girl on reception went out of her way to help me get to my meeting.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for something on a specific budget and wants to make sure they find something clean and friendly. The staff in the hotel make you feel very welcome and cannot do enough to ensure your stay is pleasant. The location is amazing, I could see the Eiffel Tower from my window and be at the Champs Elysee in 5 minutes and many of the other sites in just as long. A great experience all round, I will be going back.

We really enjoyed our stay over New Year. The hotel was clean comfortable and in a good location for the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and other major attractions. We would recommend it to friends and family.

Excellent location, Excellent decor, Excellent service and Excellent facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elysees Union and will definitely recommend it. The only 2 suggestions would be - have coffee/tea/kettle in the room and have more than croissants for breakfast. Otherwise, Well Done!

312 room too small to accomodate 2 people. asked to move to bigger room, no problem. 619 ideal room for two, very good, clean, perfect.

The Elysee Union is ideally placed for tourists. If you stand outside the entrance you have a view of the Eiffel Tower which is splendid at night when it`s lights are switched on. If you walk to the end of the Rue Hamelyn, (20 metres), you will see the Arc De Triumphe (at the end of the Champs D`Elysees). Both are within walking distance.The staff are very friendly, and breakfast is very nice. I am not one for continental breakfast, but their`s is very tasty, and served in the most efficient manner. The hotel is about 2 minutes walk from Boisierre Metro station. I would certainly stay again.

We complained and were transferred to the exact same tiny room on the 6th floor.! We had to wait in a que every morning for breakfast as the dining room could only hold around 20 people max .the images of the room misrepresented the actual rooms that we were allocated and we are considering taking our complaints further on the basis of gross misrepresentation of the facts on which we made our initial selection.Ps we are not compainers by nature but feel very let down by the hotel on what was a great trip otherwise.

Hotel was very nice, staff very helpful, situation of hotel in ideal position for sight seeing. The stay was very enjoyable.

Rooms were fine and the continental breakfast was good. Rooms clean and plenty of hot water. Staff friendly and helpful. Would go again.

Although I was only here for 1 night and staying on my own they gave me an amazing apartment which had a well euipt kitchen where I was able to cook dinner. Comfortable bed. I was very impressed.

Had 2 rooms, larger room ok, smaller room a bit oh, we are only here 2 nights it will do. Public areas good, dining ok, but for location brillant, set between Eiffel Tower and Arch de Triomphe

The Hotel was central to the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de triomphe and the Champs elysees.The hotel was clean and all the staff were helpful ,the breakfast was very good Would definatley use this hotel again.

The breakfast room is too small and there is always a long wait to be seated and served.

We enjoyed our stay at the Elysees Union. As with many other guests the airconditioning only worked on our first night but it was cool anyway. The staff all spoke English and were very friendly and helpful. It is a little tired and a little redecoration would not go amiss but all in all we had a good time. The room service breakfast was good and was always prompt. For the price it was an excellent area for us and we had a wonderful honeymoon!
