Prices/Value for the room ... as expected. (Street cars are no noise problem)

This is a good modern hotel. Foyer, dining room and rooms better than they looked on the website. Room good size and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Although the hotel is not right in the city centre buses and the dart stop virtually outside the hotel and the airport shuttle stops close by. With the Dublin Bus card we never waited more than a couple of minutes for a bus to or from the city centre. Very good value and convenience

Conveniently situated, very well presented and staff all pleasant. Water not very hot on the first day but things improved after that.

I stayed for 3 nights in the Ashling Hotel. I found the staff to be really friendly, helpful and had great knowledge of the area around the hotel (which was good for me as I hadn`t a clue how to get around). The tram stop was just up the street from it and it was 4 stops away from Connolly Train station and 2 stops away from Jervis and the main shopping area! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great hotel, great location, great staff.

Don`t be fooled by the bleak facade. This is a top notch hotel in a great location. Good sized bedrooms, great breakfast and all rooms recently refurbished. We got three nights for the price of two so excellent value as well.

this was the best hotel i could of stayed in, it was very smart and clean, with really nice and helpful staff. the hotel is just a few mins walk to all the best outings. im already planning another trip and staying here again!!!! 5 STARS *****

stayed 2 nights (Aug 09), beautiful hotel, very quiet, staff friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them when asked for directions, etc. Food was delicious, "eat as much as you want" breakfast, excellent !!! Rooms immaculate and spacious, fresh towels daily. Tram runs outside front door, hop on at station about 1 minute`s walk away, very convenient !! In City centre in 5 minutes. Hotel beside Phoenix Park (zoo) and near St Jame`s Gate (Guinness brewery) Would recommend this hotel very highly 10/10

I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. From the moment we arrived and afetr 3 nights stay the staff could not be more helpful. The hotel is newly refurbished and the rooms did not disappoint. The location is a little bit out from the main parts of the city, but easily walked in 20 minutes, or take the tram, which runs right by the hotel, or regular bus service nearby. Even the Airbus to and from the airport was very nearby. Good location for other amenities such as trains, if you want to explore further. Overall excellent.

Excellent position within the city, luas stop and bus station 30 seconds from the front door getting you into the heart of the city within a couple of minutes or you could walk in about 10 minutes. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, especially good with our 2 year old! Restaurant serving excellent food with good variety, breakfasts brilliant! Rooms very clean and tidy. All in all a really good value hotel giving us a great base for our visit to Dublin.

Really enjoyed my 4 night stay at the ashling hotel,the staff couldnt be more helpful and freindly.We got breakfast included in our rate which was very good and a buffet so u could fill yourself for busy day sightseeing. We also purchased food from the bar snacks menu which was of a high standard. our room was cleaned and towels replaced each day though nt ssure if this happens every day of the week as i was only there 4 days . But if i was to return to dublin id definitly stay at the ashling again as it is also in a very good location with heuston station across the road and a bus stop right outside to catch bus for 5 min journey into city centre.

Very good, friendly and efficient service. Rooms nice and clean. Hotel well placed for easy access to the city centre. Very reasonably priced. Overall - very impressed indeed. I will certainly use the hotel again.

It is always a bit worrying until you arrive at your hotel as you are not sure what you are going to get but my friend and I were pleasantly surprised at the lovely decor, friendly reception and a view of the Guiness factory from the bedroom window!. We found all the staff friendly, the evening meal was good and live Irish music on out first night was a great welcome. We found it easy to travel in any direction and the Taxi driver is now a friend for life. We will recommend it to our friends and family and will stay there again when we come back to Dublin in the future.

Great location right next to Airport shuttle stop, Heuston train station and the tram stop. Food was good, King room was brand new, clean and spacious, staff very helpfull. Would return and recommend.

Although the hotel was going through extensive building work, the temporary reception was good and the hotel clean and tidy. short walk from Heuston Station, bus and laus tram, the hotel was ideally located and easily accessiable. Most enjoyable stay.

What I expected from this class hotel

First time we have travelled to Dublin this was a birthday treat for my partner who was 60. From stepping into the reception to be greeted by a smiling receptionist all through our stay the staff were very helpful and courteous and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food in the Cobblestones restaurant, breakfast and dinner was excellent.

Fab location, Food, Staff and rooms, highly recommended. 4th time staying and we shall return.

Quiet in spite of refurbishment. Convenient for tram into city centre, Rail station and buses. Very happy with our stay.

Hotel: Very happy with the service we received - we requested to move rooms which was done immediately. Originally in room 321 which I do not belive should be in use until the building work has finished. Food was excellent and very reasonablly priced - breakfast great. We had problems with other guests making noise on the saturday at 4am and perhaps a polite notice to all guests would be appropiate to keep the noise down on a night. Over all a very plesant stay - we will be returning next March. Hotel Direct - a more prominent notice on the website about the renovations would be helpful.

alhough the hotel is undergoing a major referbishment it seems everthing posible is being done to keep disruption to a mimimum

It would have been rated Excellent but i was not told about the renervation work that was going on. I am only glad that i was there for the weekend as the workers started at 07.00am Monday morning. Making lots of noise. No prior notice of renovation.. Very dissapointing as this was my 1st wedding anniversary, making everything special which it was not due to the renovation.

All round excellence in customer service, food, bar facilities and rooms. Good frequent transport links with the centre of Dublin and also some nice local pubs providing good food and entertainment.

Strong smoke smell in corridors - and we somehow did not ask for a non-smoking room. No problem when we wanted to check in at only 11 am though

This hotel really gave us a warm and efficient welcome, the service was excellent, atmosphere was good even though part of the hotel was under construction you were unaware of this. It was in a great location and really made out stay in Dublin enjoyable.

Although hotel is not within ideal walking distance from Temple Bar & Grafton Street there are buses and trams that can take you there and which stop right by hotel and don`t cost a fortune. Surrounding area of hotel is currently under development so will look a lot better when finished. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful especially when we arrived too early for check in and they allowed us to leave our bags in a secure store room until our rooms were available. Hotel food was lovely and the facilities were great. I would definitely stay at the Ashling Hotel again.
