The worst Thistle Hotel I have ever stayed at. Location was excellent but the room was so uncomfortable Draughty, lumpy bed and paper thin duvets

Original hotel booking was changed due to closure. Given alternative hotel (The Tower Hotel) which was great. We were given discounted breakfast!

We were moved to Tower Hotel where we had a wonderful view and a lovely room. It woukd have been a lovely stay but just before 2am loud music was playing above. Reception asked the guests to turn it done which they did but sleep was still disrupted. Also, the curtains didn`t cover the whole width of the window so early morningight came through.

We had our hotel changed as the one we choose was closed,but were given another one.the tower at Katherine`s dock. Fantastic great views of tower bridge,great staff comfortable beds linen and towels . Loads of places to eat near by (Witherspoon`s for us ) and underground to get where we needed to go .

The hotel staff were helpful, it was a lovely surprise to be given champagne for my special birthday, check in and out was very efficient, will definitely reurn when all these troubling times are over

Very thoughtful of them to upgrade us and give us free Prosecco for my partners birthday! Really made our time away really special. Lovely room, lovely hotel and lovely staff

Exactly what you`d expect from a really good London hotel, but with the addition of a nice pool to unwind in at the end of the day.

Rooms were clean, if a little tired. Try not to get a room at the back of the hotel as staff are very noisy when emptying the rubbish and glass bottles at around midnight. Kettle, coffee and tea in the room, but the coffee is very weak. Staff were very helpful

The Hotel entrance is spacious and inviting, the staff on reception, despite being trainees were very pleasant and attentive. We could not check-in straight away, but our cases were taken and we elected to take refreshment from the bar. The Bar staff however were less attentive and even failed to take our order correctly. Our rooms were sufficient for our stay and the breakfast the day after more than adequate.

Could not shower water too hot it burnt you and could not turn it on cold

The hotel was very good and I loved having an early swim in the pool... breakfast good and plenty of choices and very comfy bed ! I will come back if in London

On arrival at the hotel we were early and thought we would ask if we could leave our bags in luggage store so we didn`t have to carry it around until the 2pm check in time. We were so surprised when we were told our room was ready and we had been upgraded to a suite. Our room was huge and really comfortable. We also added breakfast for the duration of our stay. This was very tasty with lots on offer. After returning to our suite on the first day. There was a knock at the door and my husband was presented with an ice bucket containing Prosecco and two glasses to say happy birthday. We didn`t expect this at all. Thank you Thistle our stay was amazing.

Toilet in room didn`t work. Main bar closed earlier than I would have expected and they also told me that the kitchen was closed. This was around 11pm. They said I could order room service which would suggest the kitchen wasn`t closed.

Ok for a budget hotel...nothing to complain about

Very dated, mould all around windows. So noisey at night. Would definitely not recommend

Very nice hotel, clean, friendly helpful staff. However bit more of a journey than I originally thought to get to the theatre.

Disappointed bathroom window was clear glass with a net for covering. Doors slamming until early hours.

This hotel is a busy conference centre as has a lot of customers. Our room was very large and had the usual facilities (hair dryer, tea and coffee). Our room was cleaned everyday and toiletries etc. refreshed. Our TV was faulty and it was replaced immediately. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was because of the pool. The pool and the rooms are very tired. Paint and wallpaper peeling off, missing tiles in the pool. Scratched and scuffed woodwork. If you are going to visit central London be aware that this hotel is about 30 mins away. You will need to walk 5-10 to the underground or bus-stop. Decoration and location let this hotel down. On a positive note, staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are enormous. The price is very reasonable which I suppose compensates for the travel. No excuse for the poor up-keep of decor.

Great room nice and clean, friendly staff extremely helpful arrived early and was able to book in straight away. Breakfast was fantastic everything you could possibly want to set you up for the day. Will definitely be staying again on my next trip to London.

Smallest bathroom I`ve ever seen in a hotel with no light by the mirror so a tricky job shaving! A very noisy room, the window just didn`t keep out the traffic noise. We were there 3 days, one of the two lifts were broken for that period. I didn`t use the spa or gym but they looked nice.

We did not get the family deluxe room. We got 3 single beds in a dingy part of the hotel. Miserable overpriced dinner.

Good breakfast and bar food. Rooms could do with a refurb. Bathrooms need updating. Tiles broken and stained. Fan in room I wouldn`t want to sleep under or turn on in fear of dust storm. Disappointed with pool area. Steam room out of order. Jacuzzi out of order. Quite a walk from both tube stations and not too handy for Duchess Theatre. Would normally leave bags at hotel but too far to go back to pick up on way home.

Lovely hotel and lovely staff. Breakfast was one of the best we`ve had in London, room was clean. Only bad thing was room 1126 kept us awake from 3.50 am on a Sunday morning when we were due to travel back.

Clean room but noisy when hotel staff were cleaning away in the evening ie using the bins outside.

Very dirty the bed was dirty had makeup on the pillows and black stuff fluffy stuff on the duvet the shower was leaking everywhere not a nice hotel

The staff the facilities the food are excellent in this hotel.would recommend the thistle barbican shoreditch hotel to anybody 5 stars from me .made my stay welcoming thankyou.

A little warm in room

Incredibly friendly and if a professional high standard, spa was obviosuly a high priority and was very appreciated . Good knowledge of busses and trains. Room move was efficiant and with ease. Thankyou

Lovely room.,great breakfast.Bath unsafe in our room as the bath grip just above the bath edge fitted the wrong way round.You cannot get a safe grip to exit the bath.

Stayed 2 nights,got an upgrade to a superior room which was much appreciated,massive bed in a massive room. All the usual room facilities.Breakfast was good,plenty of choice. All the staff were very friendly. The only slight downside was The Replay Bar,which was really cold,didnt appear to have any heating. People wearing coats while having a drink!

Could do with a face lift and some air conditioning. Room was very warm.
