Nice hotel not much to moan about apart from only having one towel for the two of us: had to use a bath mat which being 6ft tall was a bit of a joke. Apart from that good hotel

Found the hotel easily with the sat nav, although the traffic was horrendous. The welcome was warm and friendly. The room and hotel was superb. The bed was one of the best ever sleeps I have had in a hotel. The room was well appointed and the AC worked a treat on a very warm day. The quality of the fixtures and fittings was very good. The room and hotel were very clean. The car park was a bonus and secure, but spaces sizes vary. I am looking to book again.

The Clayton is a good place to stay in London. We chose it as it had excellent reviews and those reviewing were right ! We didn`t spend much time in the hotel but the room was a good size (as was the bathroom), it was clean and the staff were efficient, polite and helpful. The bar was comfortable and breakfast was sufficient. Although not being in the centre of London, The Clayton is accessible easily by tube and it provides for all of your requirements whilst visiting London. No complaints, enjoy this hotel and the service you will receive there.

The hotel rather a long way out from the West End (between 20 and 30 minutes on the train, depending on which theatre you are attending) but it is a 2 minute walk from Gunnersby railway station so very quick and easy to travel from here. The appeal of the hotel starts as you approach it. It is a very attractive and well-maintained building and that "kerb appeal" continues inside and throughout the hotel. I had a very nicely appointed room with all the usual facilities you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. Also, the staff were very helpful and polite and swiftly checked me in on arrival. I didn`t try the food here, instead opting for one of the many nearby restaurants for dinner before heading off to see "Wicked" and a lovely cafe across the road for breakfast. Food in hotels is usually considerably more expensive than elsewhere so I wanted to keep costs down. Eating in Chiswick is also cheaper than nearer the centre of London. Highly recommended!

Hotel staff were friendly. Rooms were spacious. Hotel is in a close proximity to the nearest tube station. Just wish it had been more central to London.

The hotel is in an ideal situation for both Twickenham and Central London, we certainly will return to the Chiswick Moran Hotel.

This is a fantastic hotel ... the decor is outstanding. The size of the room was wonderful and the extra huge plus of a decent sized bathroom WITH bath and SEPARATE amazing walk in shower, was just unbelievable! We will return again and again. Prices are also very competitive and good.

Great service. Good location, close to tube to central London. Close to Thames , great pubs and shops.

The room and bathroom were a little bigger than I was expecting and the bed unusually faced the window rather than a wall which I thought was a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and the room temperature was nicely cool, although the aircon was a little noisier than I would have hoped - but still not too bad.The seperate shower was large and worked well.The only slightly disappointing aspect was the continental breakfast - the hot water for the tea came from a thermos-type coffee dispenser, and was not as hot as I would have hoped. Also, the choice of items for breakfast was a little disappointing, although this may be because we didnt arrive until around 10:30am. Liked the fact that checkout was 12 noon. I would definitely stay here again and think that value for money was pretty good.

Also, food and service to a good standard in the Napa restaurant. The hotel is easy to access by road (250 yards from the M4 and the North Circular) and convenient for visiting west and central London using either the very frequent bus services (stops outside) and/or the Underground (Gunnersbury Station on the District Line being only 250 yards away). Although parking was not guaranteed there were plenty of spaces available (Fri - Sun) at £12.50 per 24hours in the barrier controlled car park. The hotel is situated in a pleasant and safe area a short walk (1/4 mile) from the River Thames where Kew Bridge joins the delightful Strand on the Green on the northern bank with Kew Green to the south. Kew Gardens and the Records Office are both close by. From Kew Pier, adjacent to the bridge, boat trips run to Westminster, Richmond and Hampton Court.

Clean, modern with good restaurant and bar. Friendly staff and great service. Close to tube and well priced. Excellent hotel.

It was ideal for traveling between London and Richmond for a long weekend with the girls felt very safe. Very handy for the tube, buses and getting a taxi. Staff very friendly, we will be back with the our own families.

Good hotel. 5 minutes from tube, close to chiswick high street with good bars. Hotel is modern , clean, good bar and restaurant. Only downside was a camp bed as a third bed in triple room! Other than that very good hotel. Would go back

stayed with my son,feb 2010, booked a twin, got a double ! the error was speedily rectified, and for the error we received a complimentary upgrade to an executive room. no complaints, this is a very good hotel, and would reccommend highly.

the service was friendly and the rooms were well worth the money.the bar is cosey and has a nice atmosphere.although a little bit out of the area for the purpose of our visit so only drawback was expense of taxis butotherwise woudl stay again

Just a one night stay and didn`t try the food but the beer was good and a fair bar menu. A good walking distance to Chiswick shops resturants but tube and bus just outside.

The room was cold and air con was really noisy. I was unable to switch off or turn up the heat. Had to ask for more towels 2 days in a row. I asked to have coffee not decaff sachets in room but was ignored. Just didn`t feel as if looked after as a guest. Just, here is your key and thank you.

Tried a number of times to explain to lady who wasn`t accepting this. I said I would go to my room and get email to confirm.There was a queue and it was quite embarrassing! I returned a gentleman just took my room number and showed me to a table did not query anything!The lady passed me moments later not a word and NO apology!Also the fromt desk refused to give me copy of the invoice as has to be sent to `the company` I am `the company` it`s my business! Again no result!

Overall good, nice room, good bar, lively atmosphere.Breakfast could have been better, bit hit and miss, have had much better.Would consider staying again
