"Superb"

The hotel is superb, in a very good location but the non availability of free WiFi is a minus. Almost every hotel you go to these daysites has free WiFi. Am writing this review from Airline hotel with their WiFi.

Very reasonable and convenient, good staff on the ball at all times, surprisingly good restaurant. Air con struggling a bit in the heat.

Staff were lovely in both restaurant and reception. Room was very spacious but could do with a lick of paint on walls and ceiling, but was very clean and great value for money. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Good location for visiting sites in London as train station just over the road and only 20 mins journey to London. Would definatly stay again!

"Family stay"

Excellent stay at a superb price. I took my partner and 2 young children. Our room was excellent, seperate bedroom for the kids they absolutely loved it! Train station only 5 minutes walk.Will definitely be staying here again.Special shout to Annie who was on reception and was a very pleasant welcome, even my oldest said how nice she is!

"Generally good accomodation"

On arrival our rooms were not available. We booked 4 rooms but we had to be divided onto different floors. Sink was blocked in bathroom, but generally clean.

The St Giles hotel is easily accessible from Heathrow, however after booking via the internet the hotel had not realised that we had actually booked 2 rooms - this was readily rectified. I booked and early morning call onlt to find that there was not actually a phone in my room.The receptionist was very helpful when we asked for information on transport to London andback to the airport.

"Restaurant staff were very odd "

The hotel was very nice and the staff at the desk were very helpful. The rooms were basic but very nice and I can have no complaints about cleanliness. However, the staff in the hotel bar/restaurant were very odd/rude. They seemed to all be from the same country, except for one English girl, and they all spoke in their home language, which is fine. Except on several occasions they would point at people on the bar and laugh or speak in an angry tone whilst doing this which was very unsettling. Also the English girl behind the bar would scream at other members of staff in front of customers. She would also go up to people waiting to be seated in the clearly packed restaurant and tell them that the waiters had loads of seats and they just weren`t letting people in, which obviously wasn`t true. So to sum up, rooms and hotel staff, excellent. Restaurant and bar staff, I`d rather go to McDonald`s.

"Good but lifts are a problem"

Overall the hotel is if good standard, note the parking is only free for first 3 hours then you are charged, overnight stay cost £7.00. The lifts take an eternity to come and often only two are operating.Also note there is no fridge in the room. Apart from that it`s a pleasant hotel staff are friendly & helpfull.Enjoy!

We spent a very enjoyable evening at the St Giles hotel , before a very early flight the next morning from Heathrow.We had a very nice meal in the restaurant which was reasonably priced as was the wine. Our only compaint would be that the room was very hot and you could not open the window, but this would not deter us from staying here again, and it was only a ten minute taxi ride from terminal four at heathrow.

I got a triple room for £50. BB. Which was really cheap for me.Room & Bathroom was really nice & clean. Hot water shower with good pressure. Enough mineral water bottles in the room to drink. Some interesting foods for the breakfast. Good gentlemen at the reception desk. Less than 10 minuets from Heathrow airport.Good elevators reach all the 10 floors quickly, without having being to wait. Cheap taxi service round the clock with the hotel. What more do you need for £50 for three people? Just try it you will love it.Its a good value for money and a good value for giving it a try.

"Very convenient for Heathrow Terminal 4. "

Comfortable, no-frills, modern hotel. Good restaurant. Great location for an overnight stay before a flight from Heathrow T4. Feltham rail station and bus stop for 490 bus to T4 & T5 are close by.

"Practical and very reasonable."

It was just what I needed, practical and reasonable. Above all, the restaurant was very reasonable in price and the quality of food was excellent. I would recommend it.

"No reservation found was kept waiting around for a room to be found very embaressing!!!!"

on arriving at hotel no reservation was found was kept waiting around with young children in the reception they eventually found us a family room which was freezing cold and was thrown togeather so no not happy and wont be using this site again to find a hotel

"Remarkable value for a hotel in that area."

In general, hotel management and operation very satisfactory. Small problems: (1) only 1 bathtowel in double room. (2) No option on duvet, ie: too hot when on; too cold, off. An optional blanket would solve this.Very large - and quiet - room, with good Italian cook in restaurant. Breakfast choice limited.

"reception staff were excellant, food exceeded my expectation and it was overall fantastic value."

The bar/waiting staff in the restaurant were very friendly, but sometimes when you were talking to them we would be interupted by one of their collegues and they would start a conversation, forgetting you were even there....very strange and it happened more than once. Quite conveniently situated for the airport. Clean room and satisfactorily equipped. Restaurant available for evening meal but unfortunately would not recommend the salmon the meals were not exactly a la carte and a bit pricey. Breakfast OK. Would not stay again though, perhaps try to get one nearer to the airport. Thank you any way.

We spent 3 nights at the St. Giles hotel. On arrival one of our bookings(made for a family member joining us) had been lost, thankfully we had documentation. They found a room for her but it had 3 beds crammed into a small room(for just one person) and was on another floor than ours. Our son woke the next day covered in bites up both his lower legs(we never saw any insects in the room but have our suspicians that there was something in the bed. he refused to sleep under the covers after that. To be fair we didn`t mention it at the time but later realised where the bites came from.
