My husband and I appreciated the breakfast and the dinners we had. The staff is very nice. The localization of the hotel is very good, near two underground stations and near the centre. For that reason, we very often used the taxi service. What we liked the least was the size of the bedroom. Indeed very small. But the rest was good. So next time we will go to this hotel again.

We were in a room that should have been for one person, bed was against the wall so you could only get out of the bed one side. I have stayed in small rooms before but never with the bed against the wall.

Facilities were good and the staff were very professional and helpful. They need to sort out room cleaning times though, 1630 is to late to make beds and replace towels. Standard double room was comfortable although small and overpriced. Breakfast was good but chaotic a couple more floor staff were required.

Doubletree is a lovely hotel, staff are courteous and smile and are very helpful and obviously well trained . Our room. Was cosy and very clean with very comfortable beds. Bath taps are a bit complicated but fathomed them out after a while. Longe and bar very nice and chilled with beautiful decor. Very central for everything...

All the staff were very welcoming, helpful and efficient. Our room was rather small but very clean and comfortable. Our only concern was that there were no curtains on the window except for net/voile ones. Although the room was not directly overlooked we would have preferred to have additional curtains to draw once it was dusk and lights were needed . We were otherwise very pleased with the accommodation and with the breakfast provided. We would certainly book this hotel again, or others in the same chain.

Convenient location and good Underground access to Oxford Street and West End, easy walk to Covent Garden and Leicester Square. Breakfast good but Cream with Coffee would have been better than Milk. Tables seemed to take a while to clear so people waiting in a queue. Overall a good experience.

No curtain or blind on bathroom window which was disconcerting!Had to call maintenance to fix safe but they were not quick enough and we had to leave. They did fix it after we had left, but we had to take our valuables with us.

A brilliant location for getting around London. The staff were excellent, very helpful from signing in to the chambermaids. A bit disappointed that we could only sign in at three and had to be out by eleven though.

I do not appreciate being woken by hotel direct at 5:46 in the morning that i am sleeping in the hotel to ask what i think.

Let downs were duck tape around the bathroom heater, a cracked plastic strip on the shower screen, stained silicone around the bath and the curtain track falling down after midnight !!

Very good service in the hotel and comfortable, clean rooms. Idea for staying in the West End.

Very Pleasant stay had few issues with room due to bath leaking causing water to drip to meeting room below, which was quickly rectified. turning kettle on caused the sockets to fuse leading to no tv or kettle just before leaving room so was not too inconvenienced. couldnt praise staff enough though made us very welcome

Staff at the hotel were very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was well presented and always refresh with the cook breakfast remaing hot. The accomodation is not sized as the larger Hilton Hotels would usualy be but is typical of hotels in and around the city centre areas. The usual and expected quality from the Hilton is eveident. All in all a very good base to visit all of the site London has to offer

Hotel is in close proximity to the West end.The hotel it`s self is spotlessly clean.The staff make you feel very welcome.Make sure you have your welcome cookie they are scrumptious!.

Very comfortable stay. The quietness of the room made up for us having a poor view (we were at the back/side of hotel overlooking a small quad area). The problems we had were sorted out quickly - no milk in room - difficulty in getting hot water - needing help with shower. Breakfast choice was good. Thank you

The hotel is well situated for sightseeing and shopping. The rooms are clean, comfortable and functional. We had breakfast and it was very good. The staff in this hotel are very friendly and efficent. Nice experience overall. Would stay again

We were made to feel very welcome, and enjoyed our short stay immensely. The warm cookies on arrival were a lovely touch!

Good location, was upgraded to a better room on checking. Nice cookie given to both of us. However when we went to the upgraded room it had been used by smokers and we could not stop in the room it was that bad. They immediately changed us to another room and this was fine. Bar staff in the evening really helpful. Breakfast was excellent and fresh. Would reccomend to anyone.

Really impressed with the hotel. Great location for the West End theatres. Front desk, helpful and very polite. Check in and out simple and fast. Concierge very knowlegable and helpful. Rooms exceptionally clean and quite comfortable. Superb breakfast. Only fault I could think of would be cheap quilts on the bed and the bed was a bit small compared to what we are used to (Only a standard double). Everything else perfect! Would highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived on a very hot (30 degrees C) day to find the air con was not working in our rooms. The hotel reception staff were very understanding and moved us to an executive suite, where we enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Staff were very polite, cheerful and helpful. There was a good variety of food available at breakfast, which was mostly very good, but some of our party did comment that the orange juice was weak and the croissants very bland and flavourless. We will not hesitate to return to the hotel again.

Good hotel, very pleasant staff. I syatyed for one night on business. Room recently refurbsihed and very comfortable . Good lobby facilities and breakfast. Much better than similar priced hotels recently used

Location very good. Reception and bar area very good and polite staff. Room was a very small double with bed pushed against the wall but had usual facilities you`d expect and was clean. If you don`t plan on spending much time in your room then would recommend.

Nice hotel which I will recomend to friends and use again. Central location very clean and comfortable, although on the small side. We were fortunate to have a room at the back which meant it was quiet which is a huge plus in London. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good local amenities (cash machine, pharmacy, supermarket etc.) Holburn and Russell Square underground within easy walking distance. Only slight niggle was that the lighting was a bit poor around the mirrors but not a major issue also television was difficult to navigate but didn`t spend much time in the room for it to be a problem.

we stayed in the same hotel last year and were very disappointed with our room. however it is now changed to doubletree and we had a very enjoyable stay. our room was lovely with plenty of toiletries and the breakfast was excellent. the staff were friendly and helpful. we have just returned home and am disappointed as i have just tried to book the hotel in december for two nights with friends and they are sold out! thats a good sign. jennifer

Everything about this hotel was great, from the minute we arrived staff made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was large and spotlessly clean and had lots of extras. The bed was very comfortable which is great after a long day walking round London! Meals and cocktails were fabulous. The hotel was a couple of minutes walk from Russell Square station which made it very easy to access all areas of London. Would highly recommend this hotel.
