Customer Service and cleanliness was excellent. The only problem found was the bathroom was on the small side for single occupancy

Really good hotel in an excellent location. Stayed three nights with a friend (end February), we had two single rooms which were actually doubles, and it did not seem that were palmed off with inferior rooms because of the solo occupancy. Plenty big enough by european city standards and spotlessly clean and warm. All staff were extremely helpful at all times. The breakfast was everything you could want,and the bar is also very good. Many good restuarants within easy stroll, and although Metro and busses are very handy, all major sights of interest easily walkable.

Alwyas a pleasure staying at the River Palace. Service is great, breakfast is Ok. The place needs a bit of a refresh but it`s nice being so central.

Couldn`t fault the River Palace. Lovely , friendly,helpful staff. A stones throw from the Piazza di Popolo so within walking distance of all the major sights. Hotel bedroom excellent, with free fruit on arrival and chocolates every evening and the breakfasts are to die for! Happy hour in the hotel bar must`nt be missed when all drinks are half price.Wish we could have stayed longer. Three nights is not enough. Thank you for a great stay in Rome , River Palace Hotel. !

comfortable and very clean in an old building nicely refurbished. Very attentive staff.Good location just minutes from the Piazza del Popolo and many of the main tourist sites.Rooms small but got all the necessary amenities.

Could do with more bar seating but otherwise ideally situated, well priced and with extra touches like happy hour. Would definitely use this hotel again.

This is a hotel which really lives up to your expectations. The location allows you to experience all major attractions within the gateway of Piazza del Popolo and walking distance.Service standards are very high. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is the best I have experienced and would accommodate all tastes.I will definitely return without hesitation

We enjoyed our stay at the River Palace Hotel. It`s situated very close to the Piazza del Popolo and only 2 Metro stops from the Vatican. The quality of the hotel is excellent let down only by the small size of some of the rooms (very small) and the rediculous lifts situation - you really have to see it to believe it. I`d give it 8 out of 10.

We really enjoyed our stay. All the staff were very helpful from reception who made us most welcome to room service which also provided a daily weather forcast (which was very useful). While the room was on the small side it was comfortable and the staff made our stay most pleasent. We would go there again when we go back to Rome.

good location with excellent links. also everything within walking distance. a good area (we felt very safe). high standard in the hotel also. the small touches we found very pleasing ie, weather reports, making the bed ready for sleeping, laundry bags in the room. overall the best capitol hotel we have ever stayed in. we strongly reccomend a stay.

A really first class central hotel - we were able to walk to all the attractions, Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, Colloseum, Vatican etc. We had read that the bedrooms at the hotel were small - we didn`t think so - they were beautifully decorated, spotless bathroom and bed linen etc and towels changed every day. The breakfast was first class, the staff courteous and very helpful - nothing too much trouble. We would recommend this hotel VERY HIGHLY qnd we would certainly stay here again.

The rooms are far to small for what you pay,The breakfast was nice but the bar service of a night was very slow

The hotel was extremely clean,friendly,welcoming and had everything we needed for our stay in Rome. The lobby and bar were really nice, with a grand piano and nice paintings on the Walls. Our room was small but had everything we needed, and it was a really nice room and comfy bed. Overall I would def go back to this hotel. It was 2min walk to the tube, and we walked to all the major sites. Really glad I chose this hotel.

My husband and myself stayed at this hotel for 3 nights to celebrate his hotel. It was an ideal base for all the major attractions, including the Olympic Stadium where we saw a concert. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite and even left a message for my husband to wish him Happy Birthday and gave him a box of chocolates. We stayed in a classic double room, which although very small was adequate for the amount of time spent in there. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms extremely clean, each night the hotel supplied the next days weather forecast and some sweets which I thought was a very nice touch. Would definately stay there again.

We would recommend the Hotel to anyone. The location was good with easy access to metro and bus into the heart of rome

Good central hotel, very friendly & helpful staff. Within easy accessto Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps etc. Rooms somewhat small in size. Airconditioning was not working.

The hotel was extemely well situated for all the sites in Rome, the metro was 100 yds away and really easy to use and compared to our underground very cheap.

Nice Hotel, good location for the centre and the Vatican. Excellent care from the staff who were smashing. The room was nicely furnished very clean, but could not get English sky t.v. and a was a bit of a trek to the 8th floor. But overall the hotel was very nice, staff were excellent and the breakfast was lovely. Would recommend to others but not my large friends as the room was

very good overall but hard to find -we were standing across the road but could not see the signsmall room difficult to open wardrobe door had to move the bed out of the way to get in wardrobe but beutifull room

Very helpful staff. Very clean . Central location. Even the superior rooms are quite small. Rooms overlooking street are noisy. It is difficult to find by car due to the one way system!

Had booked a twin room for my mum & I. Hotel made mistake and upgraded us to a double deluxe room. Not sure what was deluxe about it. The room was very small.My husband & I stayed at this hotel in Sept 07 on our honeymoon and it had a restaurant. Unfortunately there is no longer a restaurant which was disappointing. Bar prices are very expensive but barman Renato gave great service.

Hotel in an excellent position for the sightseeing. Would go to that hotel again but would request a better room.

Would highly recommend the River Palace Hotel.Within easy walking distance of the sights of Rome and the staff were charming.Great for English speaking guests.
